10pcs MMT 16ER AG55 UE6020 External Threading Carbide Lathe Insert

The MMT 16ER AG55 carbide insert features a triangular shape with a cutting edge that is 16mm in length. The AG55 designation indicates that the insert has a 55-degree angle on its cutting edge, which is ideal for British Standard Whitworth threads. ER indicates these inserts fit toolholders with an orientation designed for external threading with a right hand direction.

These inserts are partial profile inserts, which means they can cut a wide variety of thread pitches, but the crests will not be automatically formed as in a full profile insert so the major diameter of the thread will have to be cut accordingly.
